Philippe Somers is a multi-lingual, Antwerp-born Belgian citizen, who has spent more than half of his life overseas in the various industry corners of the project world, spread over Africa, Middle East, Europe , United States and the Far East.
He started his career and learned the trade in the breakbulk port of Antwerp, working in stevedoring and as a cargo inspector. Shortly after he joined Panalpina, where he started his overseas career and in particular his first interface with the project industry in Africa. While based in Houston, he was also one of the first staff members that put Industrial Projects as an integrated, core business on the map for DHL after their acquisition of Danzas.
Before founding ACE 54 and in over 12 years, he set up the Geodis global industrial projects network in more than 40 countries and made them one of the leaders in the project forwarding industry.
Rhonda is a Canadian citizen and early in her career has been involved in the bulk industry, exporting logs to South Korea and China, based in Vancouver.
Later on she took several roles in the business development and opened the Canadian office in Calgary on behalf of German Conceptum Logistics.
In 2012 Rhonda followed her husband to Dubai (UAE) and in 2019 co-founded with him ACE 54 Project Management, a company focused on Project Logistics Services in Africa.Rhonda takes care of the ACE 54 marketing strategy, the Administration while still remaining in a BD role for the mining industry in 10 African countries.
Graham Anderson joined ACE 54 in January 2022. He brings a wealth of operational knowledge, and a deep understanding of industrial project logistics with a focus on Africa and Asia. After studying Maritime Business and Law at the University of Plymouth, Graham learned his trade in various countries including Korea, India, Qatar, Nigeria, Angola and Equatorial Guinea to name a few, where he held senior management positions.
Since Jan 2022 Graham has headed up our operations team supporting our in-country partners to give a best in class service.
